Tell your chef directly about every allergy, intolerance and dietary restriction, and confirm it with them before your event. Telling us is a starting point, not a substitute. A private chef cooks in your home kitchen, which is not an allergen-controlled environment, and cross-contamination with allergens including nuts, shellfish, dairy, eggs, gluten, soy and sesame is possible. If an allergy in your household is severe, discuss it with your chef in detail beforehand and make your own judgement about whether the arrangement is safe. BookedChef.com does not prepare, handle or inspect food and cannot accept responsibility for allergic reactions or foodborne illness.
BookedChef.com is an introduction service. Chefs are independent businesses, not our employees or agents. We do not cook, cater, supervise chefs or control how they work. We do not verify any chef's credentials, qualifications, licensing, insurance, food-safety certification or references. Speak to your chef before your event and satisfy yourself about all of it — see our Terms of Service.
Any price, price range or budget band shown on this site is an illustration to help you plan. It is not a quote and not an offer. Chefs set their own prices based on your menu, guest count, location and date. Your chef confirms the actual price with you before your event.
